HOW IT WORKS
The ICOL fully robotic warehouses are equipped with a proprietary full robotics logistic space system (FRLS). Thanks to this, warehouse systems are adjusted to the specifics of a particular company.
ARRIVAL AT THE WAREHOUSE
Depending on the scale of integration between the warehouse and customers, goods can be delivered to the warehouse with or without pallets. Products can also be loaded onto various types of mobile racks.
The goods are distributed both by unmanned and controlled loaders to the operational or reserve storage areas.
OPERATIONAL STORAGE AND PICKING
The operational storage and picking zone consists of separate cells, combined into a few horizontal massives above each other. Such a configuration makes it available to use the floor area with the highest possible efficiency.
Spacing of the picking zone at the center and racks across the robotic station allow the fastest access and highest-possible operating speed.
The goods can come to the operational storage and picking zone, placed into mobile racks, pallets, or boxes. The last two then are packed into the mobile racks with the help of a replenishment station.
Stages of orders picking:
-1-
The AGV mobile robot chooses the rack with a specific good item and puts it to the picking station.
-2-
The picking station robot puts the goods into a reusable plastic basket.
-3-
The AGV mobile robot then brings the basket to a central fast-moving conveyor, from where it goes to a sorting zone.
SORTING
The baskets come from the central fast-moving conveyor to sorting stations, where the robots shift goods to transport packages. Based on requirements, the packages can be disposable or reusable.
ORDERS SHIPPING
The goods packed for shipment come to the shipping zone. A robotic crane here replaces them from the AGV cart and positions them near the shipment dock. Once the truck is joined to the dock, a special conveyor is used to deliver goods into the truck.
INNOVATIONS IN EVERY PRODUCT
The ICOL Robotic Warehousing Systems use a variety of unique proprietary technologies:
– AGV mobile robots
– stationary robotic stations
– mobile racks
– robotic cranes
– both internally using and transport packagings
– software
Each ICOL group product is developing within a single ecosystem. That allows equipment to interact with the highest possible performance.
THE DEEPEST DELVE INTO THE BUSINESS DOMAIN
The ICOL Robotic Warehousing Systems have a modular architecture. It makes them open for changes based on features of specific businesses.
Understanding the importance of these features, we always involve subject matter experts into the delivery process. If the business differs too significantly, then we refine our equipment or even design the lacking items from scratch.
INVESTMENT-FREE LAUNCH
We provide not only equipment and software, but also all the marketing and sales collateral.
Also, the ICOL Robotic Warehousing System can be implemented without a lot of investments:
— The company ships equipment and launches a facility on its own.
— Using the owned premises allows clients to avoid rent fees.
— The client pays based on a number of operations processed.
— If there is another ICOL warehouse functioning around, it’s an opportunity to cut spending. Companies can share the facility with the other clients.
